Today, Natural Resources Committee Chairman Rob Bishop (R-UT) and Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton (R-MI) issued the following statement after the House sent the Senate its bipartisan proposal to the House-Senate energy bill. “This offer reflects policies that represent the current bipartisan consensus in the House,” Bishop and Upton said. “We welcome any suggestions from the Senate and remain open to continuing to work with our Senate colleagues and concluding this conference in a productive manner.” |
