UPDATED: Chairman Hastings Announces Republican Members of the House Natural Resources Committee

House Natural Resources Committee Chairman Doc Hastings (WA-04) today announced the 26 Republicans expected to serve on the Committee in the 113th Congress. The list has been recommended by the Republican Steering Committee and is expected to be officially adopted in January by the Republican Conference and the House. One Member will be rejoining the Committee and five newly-elected Members will join the Committee. During the 112th Congress, there were 27 Republican and 21 Democrat seats on the Committee. For the 113th Congress, there will be 26 Republican and 21 Democrat seats.

“This is a tremendous team of Members who understand the important role of natural resources to job creation, economic growth and the livelihood of rural communities,” said Chairman Hastings. “They bring knowledge and experience to this Committee and I look forward to working with all of them next Congress on an active agenda.”
