House to vote on rewritten Native Hawaiian Recognition Bill

After House and Senate Committees approved two different versions of the Native Hawaiian Government Reorganization Act of 2009 (Akaka bill) last December, House Democrats have now released another rewritten version of this bill. The House is expected to vote on the latest altered text next week.
